A broad-spectrum antiparasitic liquid that controls and treats roundworm, tapeworm, and bots in horses of all ages

Active Constituents

• 4 mg/mL Ivermectin
• 50 mg/mL Praziquantel
• 200 mg/mL Oxibendazole

Indications

Provides control of the following parasites in horses:

• Tapeworms: Anoplocephala perfoliata, Anoplocephala magna, Paranoplocephala mammillana (adult and immature, heads and segments)
• Large Strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris (adults and arterial larval stages), Strongylus edentates (adults and tissue stages), Strongylus equinus (adults) and Triodontophorus spp. (adults)
• Small Strongyles: Including benzimidazole resistant strains of Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp., Cylicostephanus spp., Cylicodontophorus spp., Gyalocephalus spp.
• Pinworms: Oxyuris equi (adult and immature)
• Ascarids: Including ivermectin resistant strains of Parascaris equorum (adult and immature)
• Hairworms: Trichostrongylus axei (adult)
• Large Mouth Stomach Worms: Habronema muscae (adult)
• Bots: Gasterophilus spp. (oral and gastric stages)
• Lungworms: Dictyocaulus arnfieldi (adult and immature)
• Intestinal Threadworms: Strongyloides westeri (adult)

Also controls:

• Skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. cutaneous larvae (summer sores), and Onchocerca spp. Microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis)

Dosage and Administration

• Shake well before use
• EQUIMEC Triple should be given orally at the recommended dose level of 1mL/20kg bodyweight
• The dose of 1mL/20kg bodyweight delivers 0.2mg/kg of ivermectin, 10mg/kg, oxibendazole and 2.5mg/kg of praziquantel
• A ready-to-use combination drench - can be given using standard drenching equipment
• Deposit the medication on the rear of the tongue
• Immediately raise the horse's head for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the full dose is swallowed
• Drench guns should be rinsed with water immediately after use
• Do not underdose
• Dose rate should be based on the label directions for each weight range
• Correct drenching technique should be used
• Check the accuracy of drench guns regularly
• For a 300kg horse, the pack provides 20 doses, and for a 600kg horse - 10 doses

Suggested Parasite Control Program

• All horses should be included in a regular parasite control program with particular attention being paid to mares, foals and yearlings
• Foals should be treated initially at 6-8 weeks of age, and routine treatment repeated as appropriate
• EQUIMEC Triple is highly effective against tapeworms and gastrointestinal, cutaneous, and pulmonary nematodes and bots of horses of all ages
• Regular treatment will reduce the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by S. vulgaris
• Consult your veterinarian for a control program to meet your specific needs

General Instructions

• EQUIMEC Triple has shown a wide safety margin at the recommended dose level
• It may be used in horses of all ages
• Mares may be treated at any stage of pregnancy
• Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility

Meat Witholding Period (Horses)

• Do not use less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption

Safety Directions

• Will irritate the eyes
• Avoid contact with eyes and skin
• When opening the container and preparing the product for use, wear elbow length chemical resistant gloves and goggles or safety glasses
• When using the product, wear elbow length chemical resistant gloves
• If the product gets on your skin, immediately wash area with soap and water
• After each day's use, wash with gloves and goggles or safety glasses
• Do not allow children to play with product or used containers
• Can be fatal to children if sucked or swallowed
